The company DV digital vereinfacht in Aachen offers software packages that can be easily combined, extended, and adapted individually. According to Tim Frauenrath, who founded the company together with Sebastian Kalberg, this is their main competitive advantage.

“We are often asked what makes us different from other software providers,” 34-year-old Tim Frauenrath says. “Our response is: For us, software is a means to an end.” But what exactly does that mean? “We do not want to provide our customers with ready-made standard products that have been preconfigured up to the smallest detail. On the contrary. Our packages and modules are the perfect foundation for customised solutions. No two companies are ever the same, so we like to cater to individual challenges and provide a seamless integration of the software. We are skilled at solving problems, and we enjoy our work.”

“The high customisability is our strength,” Tim Frauenrath continues. “I always say that at DV digital vereinfacht, customers get software from a very broad repertoire that works on every operation system and can be used on a computer or a mobile device. Nothing has been fully programmed. Our basic software is the perfect starting point and has to be adapted to each company’s needs. We think that this is especially advantageous.”

Founded in 2021, the software company specialises in customers from the construction sector, including structural and civil engineering businesses as well as gardening and landscaping companies, general contractors, prefabricated house builders, property developers, project developers and subcontractors. This specialisation exists for a reason. Tim Frauenrath says: “I studied civil engineering at the technical university RWTH in Aachen. Afterwards, I worked as a construction manager and later as a project manager in building construction. My business partner Sebastian Kalberg attended the same university and went on to gain international experience in civil engineering.”

Tim Frauenrath has a positive outlook for the future: “We consider ourselves to be business consultants on a digital level. At the moment, we have 7 employees. Our goal is to grow healthily and steadily, and to improve our market shares in the building sector.
