The high level of innovation, the personal exchange and the experiential nature of the trade fair once again impressed visitors from Germany and internationally this year
over 66,000 visitors from 80 countries gathered for their green family reunion.

Once again, the trade fair lived up to its claim of offering the industry new solutions to current challenges. The second edition of the GREEN BLUE PATH provided inspiration on the topic of climate adaptation, among other topics.

Highlights of GaLaBau 2024 included... 

  • The GaLaBau Expert Forum - offered the visitors keynote speeches and informative introductions in the fields of private garden, public green, rules and regulations and business administration.
  • The Landscape Talks - showcased specialist presentations to the visitors which was tailored for local authorities and landscape architects with regards to playground safety, climate-friendly urban green spaces and circular urban landscape. 
  • At the A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO DIGITISATION forum, visitors received practical knowledge on how to digitally improve their operating processes and increase their competitiveness.
  • Special shows like the GREEN-BLUE PATH which also offered Guided Tours for the first time were available. Visitors were thrilled at the first-hand opportunity to learn about the innovative products and to receive answers to their daily challenges. 
  • The Landscape Gardeners-Cup was once again a GaLaBau classic and a popular attraction for visitors and participants alike. Twelve teams in pairs of two from all over Germany spent two labor-intensive days designing a 4x4 meters, complex garden according to specific guidelines.
