Product information

With this patent-pending geotextile, surface erosion protection in road construction is taken to a new level.

The new NeiG erosion protection fabric Tekss7 makes erosion protection more technical. Through a unique process, an additional stainless steel wire is incorporated, making this geotextile permanently resistant.

The tensile strength is increased to over 33 kN/m, ensuring permanent surface stabilization of the developed plant cover. No plastic is introduced into the environment at the end of its lifecycle. Our waters remain free from microplastics.

It is the ideal textile product for reclamation and bioengineering measures when it comes to nature and species protection combined with a permanently stabilized structure in the root horizon. The advantages of the new technical erosion protection:

• Permanent technical erosion protection without plastic

• Made from 100% renewable natural fibers and stainless steel reinforcement

• No introduction of microplastics into the environment

• Unique: > 33 kN/m maximum tensile strength according to DIN EN ISO 10319

The new NeiG Tekss7 is used wherever durability is essential. In hydraulic engineering, the permanent stainless steel wire stabilizes the root horizon after the natural fibers have decayed. Dikes and dams are secured in the vegetation layer. In rockfall protection and on steep slopes, the stainless steel wire serves as additional security in the form of a secondary mesh under the rockfall protection nets.
