The company has been manufacturing at its Gummersbach site near Cologne for over 90 years. In addition to petrol and battery-powered lawn mowers, the SABO range includes scarifiers, mulchers, lawn tractors and municipal machines.

Strict quality tests:

Every new SABO prototype has to undergo an ordeal before series production. The impact test examines the mechanical strength of the blade using a steel tube and rod. With the vibration, drive and gearbox test, we simulate the lifelong load in use. During the blade test, we test the structural strength of the blade beams. Only after one million load cycles is the cutter bar released for series production. In the ball impact test, hardened steel balls shoot into the running blade and the chassis and provide information on the structural strength and shielding. In addition, our professionals put the products through their paces in an open field test under the toughest conditions. All this is what makes a SABO and guarantees the well-known high quality over a long period of time.
