ARBO-FLEX Stammschutzfarbe 7+

ARBO-FLEX trunk protection paint 7 plus is a trunk protection paint specially developed to prevent/reduce thermal bark damage caused by heat or frost on deciduous trees. Thermal bark damage can occur on young and old trees in summer (sunburn, summer sunburn) and in winter (frost crack, frost plates). Young trees are at risk after transplanting from protected quarters to solitary sites, old trees are at risk due to sudden releases after calamities or construction measures endangered.

The protection period after a single coat is more than 7 years. For the first time, the trunk is thus given the opportunity to slowly and gently adapt to the changed radiation conditions over this period. So far, no thermal bark damage has occurred on the trees painted 10 years ago.

In orchard meadows or fruit growing younger trees are planted than in landscaping. Protective bark structures form much later and may require a subsequent coating after 4 - 5 years. ARBO-FLEX is paste-like and is applied undiluted. The paint sets as a white coating on the trunk.
