In this company, established in 1969, we build products well known and appreciated all over the world. It all began with the production of hydraulic power packs and spare parts for tool machines and from the beginning our goal has been to produce with the best technology and precision available on the market.

In 1981 we entered the nursery business with the hydraulic hammer, first specific tool to remove a tree with its rootball. Making treasure of our long experience in mechanic and hydraulic systems.

In 1989 we designed and built our first prototype of treedigger. It was a revolution in the nursery f ield, because the treedigger can do the job of 20 people and this permits to increase the number of digged out trees, making better delivery timing and making lower the effort for workers.

In the 90’s Holmac has become a leading international company thanks to a wide range of tracked treediggers that vary mainly in the rootball cutting size, from 25 to 80 cm, from 25 to 100 cm and from 50 to 150 cm in diameter. Almost all the machines have a sideways cutting movement that allows plants in the narrowest rows to be extracted. All models are fitted with a patented system of track opening and forwarding, which allows plants of considerable size to be handled.

Since 2002, the company has been located in a modern factory and in a strategic logistical position. Production uses high-tech machinery and highly specialised personnel to ensure maximum precision in the processing stages, and a modern assembly line allows timely deliveries. Accurate testing throughout the production chain makes Holmac machines more reliable over time and is the result of a company philosophy that has always been focused on quality.

In 2019 Holmac celebrated 50 years of uninterrupted activity in the design, construction and marketing of hydraulic machines serving the nurseryman.

An important milestone reached with total dedication from the owners, who founded the company firmly believing in the production of reliable and quality machines. Even today, thanks to the strong collaboration of what we proudly call ‘the Holmac Team’, the people behind our products think every day about how our machines of tomorrow will be.
