Vulkaponic 2/5 Mineral Substrate is a special hydroponic growing medium for plants that is produced on the basis of volcanic minerals. It is rich in nutrients and can improve plant growth and health.
Our Vulkaponic® 2/5 is a mineral growing medium made from pumice and high-quality zeolite. The mineral substrate is therefore light and ideal for indoor plants. Vulkaponic® 2/5 mineral substrate is also ideal for water-retaining systems.
The substrate is lighter than Vulkastrat and its grain size is particularly suitable for 6 cm to approx. 20 cm pots.
The lightweight substrate has a very good water storage capacity and a high nutrient storage and buffering capacity. 100% of our mineral substrates are pure natural products and can be returned to the ecological cycle.
