Mounts for Double Wire Fences

Patrick Strauch is a man of action. He has a creative mind and extensive experience in the gardening and landscaping industry. The 55-year-old has developed a mount that can be used to transform a simple double wire fence into an individual privacy screen. His product is called Tops-Montageblock (Tops Mount). It is available on the website mehr-stabgitter-flair.de.

“One click and chic,” says Patrick Strauch, describing how his mounts can be used. “My customers can keep their existing double wire fence and invest in its look. You do not need to be a skilled craftsman, because the mounts are suitable for everyone – even laymen.”

The Tops Mount allows privacy screen elements made of different materials to be attached to the double wire fence – from high-quality hardwoods to simple pine boards and WPC products. The mounts have a size of 40x20x30 millimetres or 40x15x25 millimetres (1.57x0.79x1.18 inches or 1.57x0.59x0.98 inches) and are simply clicked into the fence. They have two drill holes into which the mounting screws are then inserted. The products are available for fences with a wire thickness of 6/5/6 millimetres or 8/6/8 millimetres (0.24/0.20/0.24 inches or 0.31/0.24/0.31 inches), each coming in three colours that are based on the RAL colours of fences.

Patrick Strach developed the Tops Mounts because he knows that in many cases, it is the simple things that facilitate the work on construction sites the most. “I trained to be a landscape gardener and worked as such for a while before doing another apprenticeship as a gardening and landscaping technician. After that, I ran a gardening and landscaping company together with a business partner for several years. Since we sold the company, I have dedicated myself to the Tops Mounts.”

“At GaLaBau in Nuremberg, visitors will be able to see first-hand how simple it is to use the mounts,” says Patrick Strauch. “I am looking forward to the dialogue and many interesting discussions.” And there is another thing that is important for him to add: “On my website, there are several videos illustrating the different possibilities to use the mounts. Among other things, you can use them to install letter boxes, signs or lamps on double wire fences.”

Tops is one of the exhibitors at the joint stand Young Innovators. This area is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and can be found in Hall 3C.
