Skid Steer Loader – Fully Battery Powered
In our Newcomer series, we introduce you to various exhibitors of the International StartUp Area. Today we present: EXVO Electric
EXVO Electric, based in Monaghan in Ireland, is a very young company founded in 2021. Its goal: Bringing practical and optimized construction machinery with electric drive to the market. In North America and other European countries, EXVO Electric has already successfully launched their products. Now, they plan to enter the German market, as CEO Conor Traynor explains.
“We are looking forward to our appearance at the Nuremberg trade fair in September”, Conor Traynor says. He manages the company EXVO Electric. Conor Traynor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a diploma in Planning and Development. “The GaLaBau trade fair will be our first opportunity to present our company and products to a broad specialist audience in Germany.”
EXVO Electric produces and sells skid steer loaders. Their special feature: These construction machines are 100 per cent battery powered. Conor Traynor explains what benefits this brings: “With our loaders, landscape gardeners can significantly lower their operating costs and reduce their carbon emissions at the same time. And there’s more: Zero exhaust emissions and virtually silent operation on site are further advantages.”
EXVO Electric offers their skid steer loaders in two variants. The EX227R weighs 850 kg (1870 lbs) and has a run time of up to 5 hours per battery charge. With its 1,250 kg (2,750 lbs), the EX245R is slightly bigger and can operate for up to eight hours on the construction site.
A very smart feature is the unique up and over door design of the cabin. This offers easy access to the cabin while providing a useful circumferential visibility. And naturally, the cabin is also equipped with air conditioning. Plus, there are several optional extras that are available when purchasing an EXVO Electric skid steer loader: Self-levelling of the machine amongst others.
EXVO Electric is one of the exhibitors at the joint stand of the International StartUp Area. This area is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and can be found in Hall 3C. NürnbergMesse offers companies in the International StartUp Area special conditions for participating in GaLaBau, the leading International Trade Fair for Urban Green and Open Spaces (www.galabau-messe.com/en). The fair takes place from 11 – 14 September 2024.
