Schlüter-Systems KG: from the 'Schiene' profile to system provider

The innovative ideas and high-quality products of Schlüter-Systems KG have made the company a market leader for many products related to tiling. The company, based in Iserlohn, Germany, offers installers practical and safe solutions for laying and processing tiles and pavers.

With the development of the Schlüter®-SCHIENE, which is known worldwide today, company founder Werner Schlüter laid the foundations for the success story in 1975. When it comes to finishing tile coverings, the name Schlüter is taken for granted today. The extensive portfolio of the family-run company also includes numerous other solutions, such as systems for minimal-barrier showers, uncoupling and drainage mats or high-quality profiles with LED lighting. With a variety of customisable products, even individual preferences or corporate designs can be realised attractively.

Overall, the Schlüter-Systems range today includes over 10,000 saleable products and product types. The portfolio can be divided into six competence areas:

  • Balconies and terraces
  • Technology and design with profiles
  • Waterproofing / uncoupling / drainage / impact sound
  • Covering assembly technology
  • Tile substrates
  • Illuminated profile technology.

More than 2,700 employees in Iserlohn, seven foreign subsidiaries and numerous international service offices ensure the best possible service for customers and provide 'more fun with tiles'.
